Leigh Christie is the Executive Director of the Entrepreneurs Foundation. In this role, Leigh oversees the day to day operations of the organization, all project and programming activities, including the organization’s youth entrepreneurship programs, manages the philanthropic contributions for realized equity donors, directs the corporate community involvement programs for member companies and supports the Foundation's equity council and Leadership Projects.
Leigh has more than 15 years of experience in operations, management, development and recruiting. Prior to joining the Entrepreneurs Foundation in 2012, Leigh practiced law at Cozen O’Connor for four years in Seattle, WA, where she also volunteered her legal services with VAPWA (Volunteer Attorneys for People With AIDS) and served on the Hospice Seattle Board of Directors. After relocating to Austin, she held the Client Development and Recruiting Manager position at Fulbright & Jaworski LLP. In 2009, Leigh redirected her energy and time to youth and entrepreneurship programming by taking on the Director position for Lemonade Day Austin, an entrepreneurial program for youth supported by the Entrepreneurs Foundation.
She has held Board seats with The Girls’ School of Austin and The Care Communities and she is currently on the Advisory Board for the Armstrong Community Music School, the Executive Committee for the City of Austin’s Corporate Engagement Council and the Executive Council for Lemonade Day National. Leigh was most recently recognized as an Austin Business Journal Profiles in Power Nominee and she is a graduate of the Leadership Austin Essentials Class and the AISD UpClose Program.
