Co-founder, Lan, is an alumnae of the University of Texas, class of 2008, with a double major in Psychology and Radio/Television/Film.  Lan started her professional career as a Post Production Intern for Universal Studios working on Battle Star Galactica before moving to Seoul, Korea in 2009 to teach English at SMOE in 2011, she came back to Texas as an After School Counselor for the Awty International School in Houston.  Lan stayed in Houston to work as an Operations Manager for Lone Star Trans Global, Inc in the Qingdoa China Representative Office.  She moved back to Austin in 2013 to join the PhotoHouse Films team as a Post Production Manager where she worked alongside Vi. She became a licensed Real Estate Agent in Austin before coming on board as Homads’ Co-founder and Creative Director in September 2014.

No stranger to travel, Lan has worked all over the world both professionally and as a volunteer.  From 2007-2011 she served as a volunteer Videographer for Students of the World traveling to Thailand to document human trafficking, Paraguay to study the social impact of organic farming, and Haiti to document Un Techo Mi Pais, helping local Haitians transition into sheltered homes.  Continuing her volunteer work, in her free time Lan works with Breaking the Glass, a professional group that promotes career development for women in Texas.
