Product Management
Austin, Texas Area
I have been in a product management positions for the last few years with 2 different organizations. I joined the companies when the product team was in its earliest stages. I am well versed in the Agile Scrum framework and have owned many and various parts of the product development lifecycle, including prioritization, roadmap development, and backlog grooming. Within the last year, I’ve done plenty of traveling. I have visited San Francisco, Vancouver, San Juan (Puerto Rico), Machu Picchu (Peru), Denver and national parks and monuments near the Arizona-Utah state border. In San Francisco, I witnessed the organized chaos that is the Bay to Breakers race. I completed the Grouse Grind, in Vancouver, a 2 miles hike that climbs 2800 feet and takes on average an hour and half to complete. It is commonly known as “Mother Nature’s Stairmaster”. While visiting San Juan, I had the opportunity to visit the El Yunque National Forest, the only tropical rain forest in the United States. In Peru, I trekked to one of the world’s 7 wonders, Machu Picchu. I participated in a 4 day, 3 night 25 mile trek where I spent 2 nights camping in local villages and saw views from an altitude of 14,000 feet. Recently, I visited Denver and indulged in a variety and different styles of beers during a walking microbrew tour. During a road trip along the Utah & Arizona border, I visited Arches National Park, Zion National Park, Monument Valley, Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon.
